The Garrett Sea Hunter Mark is a unique and powerful metal detector that will assist you in finding treasures that have been lost or tossed away by people years and years ago, either on land or deep underwater-up to 200 feet deep. The Sea Hunter Mark comes with an 8-inch PROformance searchcoil and underwater headphones. The Sea Hunter Mark is an impressive piece of machinery.
The 8” submersible searchcoil at the end of the Mark II is state-of-the-art “Rhino Tough” and can be interchanged with three other sizes. The searchcoil is very versatile and deep-seeking, making it effective for any type of metal detecting that you choose to do. You can take the Hunter Mark diving with you to find some incredible treasures that not many have access to, as the detector is made to work deep underwater.
Garrett made the Mark II with a unique, “Discrete Trash Elimination” feature so that you are not digging up garbage like soda can pulls and foil. This feature works along with the Standard PI (Pulse Induction) that completely eliminates trash from your find, meaning you will be lead to only real treasures without wasting your time. These functions work both on land at and sea, making the Garrett Sea Hunter Mark an all-around metal detector. When used in the sea, the Garrett Sea Hunter Mark will ignore salt water and iron mineralization that is found in this type of body of water.
The stem of the Mark has four configurations. The long stem with top, the hip and under cuff stem mounts and a short stem for underwater uses.
A Garrett Sea Hunter was used by the famous treasure hunter, Mel Fisher to find silver and gold from a 1600’s Spanish vessel off the Florida Keys in the mid 1980s.
With the Sea Hunter you get a do-it-all detector at a very fair price.
