Gold Digger Metal Detector - My Review
After checking out different expensive metal detector units in local stores, I decided that I would start my adventure with the Gold Digger Metal Detector. Looking at the manuals found in their website - www.detecting.com, this model seems to have the most options I want. Not to mention its priced reasonably for what it delivers.

Well made and easy to use - these are the first impressions I got from this metal detector after a week's use. Just recently, I went on a camping trip, I got 2 9 volt batteries. I was able to use with the Gold Digger Metal Detector for a long time (using the headphones instead of the speaker).

Light and easy to carry - you won't have any problems swinging it back and forth and moving from one spot to another. The Trash Eliminator Control - with this feature switched on, I have no trouble finding even the smallest precious items buried 6 inches below the ground. Very handy!

HOWEVER, when I'm on the hunt for iron artifacts, I switch this feature off to make sure I don't miss anything.

The Gold Digger Metal Detector lives up to its name...it can really find important stuff. I think the smaller coil makes it capable of finding smaller precious items that are metal detecting units with larger coils would miss.

Along with that, it can also pinpoint very well. I never had any trouble finding the exact location of the 'treasure'. All I have to do is pass the coil over the area for a couple of times. Earlier at the park, I was able to find a very old compass...the sort that I have back when I was a kid.

Not even once did the Gold Digger Metal Detector miss anything!

Looking at the features, ease of use, etc. the Gold Digger Metal Detector is NOT bad for the price. I wish I had one of these when I was starting out. Never mind, I could always go back to those remote places and do some detecting.

I'm sure the Gold Digger Metal Detector will find truckloads of niceties buried in the ground.
